Health Info & Goals

This is the place I will try to remember to post my over all daily health goals.  Whether it be food, exercise, vits/min, or even mental goals.  I have lots of yuck wrong with my body and that's not just being somewhat overweight.  One of my biggest hurdles right now is that I love running and taking long long walks.  Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with Elhers-Danlos Syndrome (type III - hypermobility) and so my running has basically been ruining my joints worse than the rheumatoid arthritis.

At this point, I'm trying to reevaluate my exercise routines, diet and what vits/mins my body is most likely deficient in.  Trying to combine those factors with an autoimmune thyroid dysfunction, my little one's lactose intolerance, red dye allergy, and my daughters growing allergy list is going to be a lot of fun! Well, not so much fun, but you get the picture.

We don't eat as healthy as we should, but I'm doing much better with portion control and making sure we have veggies every night.  Most nights include salad.  For breakfast, I'm not a big fan and unfortunately I've realized I have an egg allergy so there goes my favorite breakfast and lunch food!  Good news is, since I've cut out the eggs I am not getting as many headaches anymore!  

I'm hoping that by keeping somewhat of a daily journal on here will keep me accountable and make my goals that much more attainable!
